Springbok video poker multi-hand: what the lobby offers
The short answer is one hand per deal. When the pay tables were read on 9 October 2026, the hand selector in Springbok's video poker games offered only "1 Hand", and the game settings loaded in practice mode allowed a single hand as well. Lobby reading · 9 Oct 2026 (opens the source)
Springbok's own wording is less tidy. Some of its older pages describe video poker with up to 100 or 1–52 hands at once, while a 2026 Springbok article calls the lobby's titles single-hand variants. This site follows what the games actually do, so no machine here is described as multi-hand, and the cost per deal is never more than R25.00.
Why video poker won't clear a Springbok bonus
Bonus money and video poker do not mix at Springbok, so deal hands from a balance with no active bonus. The reason sits in one clause of the terms.
Comp points still accrue: the T&Cs award 1 comp point per R10 wagered, redeemed at 100 points = R1, with no separate video poker rate stated. If you also spin slots, the welcome package belongs to that side of the lobby:
What a hand costs at each coin value
Every machine uses the same grid: a coin value, then 1 to 5 coins. On almost every table the top award jumps with the fifth coin: Jacks or Better pays 250 for a royal at 1 coin but 4,000 at 5.

Look at the last column before you settle on a coin value. A hundred hands is not a long session, and that column is money staked, not money lost: some comes back as wins, but no pay table says how much or when.
Where it plays: the mobile lobby
On 9 October 2026, Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild opened in a desktop browser showed a notice that the game is no longer available on that platform because Flash has been retired, and that it continues on mobile. No desktop result is recorded for the other thirteen. All fifteen loaded on the mobile client, where every table on this site was read, so plan to play on a phone.

Double or Nothing after a win
After a winning hand, Springbok's machines offer a Double or Nothing round: you pick a card; a higher card than the dealer's doubles the win and a lower one loses it. What happens on a tie is not stated in the game's help we read. Lobby reading · 9 Oct 2026 (opens the source)
The round is optional and sits outside the pay table. Taking it every time turns small wins into all-or-nothing calls, so settle your rule for it before a session.
What a pay table can and cannot tell you
A pay table is the one part of video poker you can read in full before you stake a cent. It shows which hands pay and how two similar names differ: put Double Jackpot Poker beside Double Double Jackpot Poker in the room above.
What it cannot show is how often each hand arrives, and no source we read publishes a return-to-player figure. Good holds trim the house edge; they never remove it, and no choice of cards turns video poker into income.

Video poker is quick. Set your limits before the first deal
A hand is over in seconds, so one session can stack up hundreds of decisions without a pause. That pace matters more than any pay table: a table tells you what a hand pays, never how often it turns up.
- Pick a rand figure for the session and count it as spent the moment the lobby opens.
- Choose a coin value that lets that figure last. Five coins at R5.00 is R25.00 a hand, and hands come round every few seconds.
- Decide before you start whether you will touch Double or Nothing, and leave it alone when you are behind.
- Stop when the figure is gone. Raising the coin value to chase a loss is a warning sign, not a plan.
- Set a phone timer. Video poker has no natural break between hands, so make one.
Time for a break if…
- You raise the coin value to win back a loss.
- Sessions keep running past the time you set.
- Money meant for bills ends up in the cashier.
- Double or Nothing becomes a way to recover.

No. Video poker is not on the terms' list of counting games, and an excluded-game bet before a bonus is cleared can void it, so play with no active bonus.
Why won't Springbok video poker open on my computer?
On 9 October 2026 a desktop browser showed a Flash-retirement notice for Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild, saying the games remain available on mobile. Every table on this site was read on the mobile client, so open the lobby on a phone.
