Two pair pays even money and a hand costs R0.05 to R25.00. Despite the name there is no progressive prize, and video poker does not help clear a Springbok bonus, so treat it as straight cash play.

How Double Double Jackpot Poker plays at Springbok
The deal follows the house pattern for this lobby: five natural cards, keep whichever you like, one draw, then the table pays the result. Jacks or better is the lowest win and no card is wild. Lobby reading · 9 Oct 2026 (opens the source)
Four of a kind is sorted into three groups: Aces, the picture cards (Kings, Queens and Jacks), and every rank from 2 to 10. For the first two groups the screen adds a kicker row, a version of the hand that names the fifth card:
- 4 Aces w/KQJ: four Aces with a King, Queen or Jack as the fifth card.
- 4 KQJ w/AKQJ: four Kings, Queens or Jacks with an Ace, King, Queen or Jack as the fifth card.
Coin value and coin count work as they do on every machine here: R0.05 to R5.00 a coin, 1 to 5 coins, single hand. After a paying hand the screen offers Double or Nothing: your card against the dealer's, where higher doubles the prize and lower takes it away.

Double Double Jackpot Poker pay table: the equal rows
Three quad rows on this screen pay the same, 160 coins at 1 coin: four Aces with a King, Queen or Jack, four Aces with anything else, and four Kings, Queens or Jacks with an Ace or picture-card kicker. The viewer reproduces them as displayed and flags the match. In practice the Aces kicker row adds nothing on Springbok's version, while the picture-card kicker row lifts four Kings, Queens or Jacks from 80 to 160.
The equal Aces rows are not peculiar to Springbok's screen. Wizard of Odds lists a version of this game that it says can be found at some Real Time Gaming casinos, with the same full house, flush and straight pays and the same award for four Aces with or without a picture-card kicker. Its main table for the game pays more for the Aces-with-kicker hand.
| Machine | 4 Aces w/KQJ | 4 Aces | 4 KQJ | 4 2-10 | Two Pair |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Double Jackpot Poker | 140 | 70 | 35 | 20 | 2 |
| Double Double Jackpot Poker | 160 | 160 | 80 | 50 | 1 |
Its stablemate Double Jackpot Poker keeps two pair at 2 and pays smaller quads, with a real premium for the Aces kicker: 140 against 70. The double-double version raises every quad, flattens that Aces premium away and cuts two pair to even money. Set it against Double Double Bonus Poker and the contrast is where the bonus sits: that game rewards low quads and low kickers, this one rewards picture cards, and its straight pays 5 against 4 there.
Holding notes for Double Double Jackpot Poker
No published strategy chart we found is built for this exact table; the Wizard of Odds pay-table page for the game has no chart of its own and links to its Double Double Bonus strategy instead. The notes below are narrower as a result: each follows directly from the rows on Springbok's screen. Like any hold advice, they trim the house edge on a hand rather than overturn it.
- Three Aces: let the kicker go. A King, Queen or Jack adds nothing to the four-Aces award on this screen, so keeping one earns nothing. It also costs a draw: one card instead of two halves your chance of the fourth Ace.
- Dealt four Kings, Queens or Jacks with a low fifth card? Hold the four and draw. The draw cannot lose the quad, and an Ace or another picture card lifts the hand from 80 to 160. With four Aces or four 2s to 10s, the fifth card changes nothing.
- Two pair is worth its draw, not its pay. It returns 1 at 1 coin, no more than a pair of Jacks, so its value lies in the one-card draw to a full house at 9.
For subtler calls, such as whether to break up two pair that includes Aces, an exact answer needs a solver set to Springbok's rows. The Wizard of Odds strategy maker takes an edited pay table, and our video poker strategy basics cover the general method.
Stakes, comp points and session limits
Three rows here pay 160 coins at 1 coin, which makes the table look generous at a glance. All three are four-of-a-kind hands that arrive rarely, while the even-money two pair turns up often. Set the coin value from your session budget, not from the top of the table.
Without a bonus, comp points are the reward left to count. Springbok's terms give a base rate of 1 comp point per R10 wagered, with points cashed in at 100 points = R1 through Redeem Comps Verified · 9 Oct 2026 (opens the source). Treat them as a small rebate, not a reason to play longer; the Springbok comp points guide covers earning and redeeming them in detail.
It plays in the mobile lobby, where its rows were read; the desktop lobby showed a Flash-retirement notice on 9 October 2026 saying the video poker games remain available on mobile. Practice comes free: the tile's Try It! option loaded R1,000.00 in fun money, enough to get used to the kicker rows before a real hand.

Questions players ask
Is there a progressive jackpot on Double Double Jackpot Poker at Springbok?
No. On 9 October 2026 the lobby's Progressives tab listed slots and Caribbean poker tables but no video poker machine Verified · 9 Oct 2026 (opens the source). The largest award on this table is the fixed royal flush, 4,000 coins on a 5-coin bet.
Why do four Aces with a King pay the same as plain four Aces?
That is how Springbok's game screen shows the table: both rows pay 160 coins at 1 coin. Wizard of Odds records the same arrangement for a version found at some Real Time Gaming casinos, so it is a known variant rather than a one-off display error.
What is the difference between Double Jackpot Poker and Double Double Jackpot Poker?
Double Jackpot Poker pays two pair 2 and keeps a bonus for the Aces kicker, but its quads are smaller. Double Double Jackpot Poker pays bigger quads, gives the Aces kicker no extra and pays two pair 1.
Does Double Double Jackpot Poker count toward Springbok bonus wagering?
It does not. The terms spell out which games clear a bonus, and none of the video poker machines appear there. An excluded-game hand dealt mid-rollover can void the bonus, so start a session here only when no bonus is active on your balance.
